Sisters working in atelier
The Beginning

A Kitchen Table And A Dream

In the summer of 2021, two sisters sat at a kitchen table in Karachi with fabric swatches spread between them, a pot of chai cooling, and a single question they couldn't shake: why did modest clothing have to feel like a compromise?

Alya, the elder, had spent seven years designing for established fashion houses. Noor, the younger, had returned from studying textile design in London with a sketchbook full of silhouettes she couldn't find anywhere. Together, they decided to build the wardrobe they wished existed โ€” one made of breathable linens, generous cuts, and the soft neutrals of slow mornings.

Sorelle, Italian for sisters, became their name and their north star.

What We Stand For

Four Quiet Principles

Breathability

Every fabric is chosen first for how it feels against the skin. Linen, crepe, nida, organic cotton โ€” nothing that restricts, everything that moves.

Intention

We design fewer pieces, better. Each silhouette is refined over months of fittings until it feels inevitable โ€” the piece you'll reach for a hundred times.

Sisterhood

From our founders to our tailors to the women who wear our pieces, The Sorelle is a circle of women crafting for one another with care and respect.

Quiet Luxury

No loud logos, no trend-chasing. Luxury, to us, is the whisper of a well-cut seam and the confidence of wearing something made to last.

The Atelier

Crafted By Hand, In Karachi

Our small atelier sits in a converted house in Clifton, where a team of fourteen tailors and embroiderers โ€” most of whom have been with us since the first season โ€” bring each design to life.

We work slowly. Patterns are drafted in-house. Every piece is cut by hand before being stitched on industrial machines. Finishing details โ€” from the weight of a button to the turn of a hem โ€” are considered at every stage.

We pay our artisans above-market wages, offer paid family leave, and run a skills-training program for young women entering the trade.
